For a few years, we started to receive games that were chock full of stuff and despite the overall quality of the game they often felt a bit too long.
With Ubisoft being one of the main companies who gave us these seemingly endless RPGs and action games it’s a relief to see the Star Wars Outlaws length is just right, hitting a nice sweet spot.
Star Wars Outlaws will show us another side of the sci-fi epic
Revealed on Twitter via Culture Crave it seems the newest adventure in a galaxy far, far away will clock in at around 30 hours to beat the main story.

However, if you do prefer a chonky game you’ll be delighted to know that to see and do everything the game has to offer you’ll be playing for approximately 50-60 hours.
Of course, completionists are going to have plenty to find and will have a myriad of missions to undertake, and these hours don’t take into account skill level or just standing around looking at the gorgeous scenery.
It’s nice to know Star Wars Outlaws won’t be an epic journey over hundreds of hours when there are so many other brilliant games vying for our attention this year, with Ubisoft themselves having another potential banger waiting in the wings with Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Star Wars Outlaws will be a very different game to recent Star Wars entries with no Jedi in the lead role and looking more at the rogueish elements of the galaxy, as well as new planets and aliens to discover.

If you caught the latest trailer from Summer Games Fest you’ll also have noticed that another classic rogue character made an appearance in Lando Calrissian, so there will still be some overlap for the die-hard fans.
You don’t have long to wait to play Star Wars Outlaws as it releases worldwide on 30 August 2024.
