Fans of the groundbreaking RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the lesser known Far Cry Primal can rejoice to learn of an upcoming title that combines the best of both worlds.
We all know that any game likened to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is enough to perk up the ears of any gamer. The Bethesda RPG is set to go down in history as one of the best so it is no surprise that newer developers see it as a major inspiration.
Take a look at 24 hours in Skyrim below. What could go wrong?
Additionally, 2016’s Far Cry Primal is perhaps one of the lesser-known entries in the Far Cry franchise but no less enjoyable.

More importantly, what would happen if you combined the two? Developers Games Box seemingly have the answer with its upcoming open-world survival game, Primitive.
Primitive is set during the brutal age of the Stone Age where you will need to fight, conquer and dominate in order to reach the top of the food chain. Taking place on an open-world map, players will need to navigate a world fraught with danger, deadly beasts and hostile tribes.
“Dare to survive!” Reads the official Steam synopsis. “Tens of thousands of years ago, when the world lived by the forces of nature, both Neanderthals and Sapiens (Homo sapiens) tried to survive thanks to their cunning and strength in the brutal reality of the Stone Age.
They constantly improved their weapons, clothing, communication, and hunting strategies to survive in the conditions of every day, with extreme dangers lurking at every step.”

All of which you will find yourself doing in Primitive. Whilst avoiding the land’s towering mammoths, players will need to climb the ranks of the hierarchy of a group of hunters all whilst finding resources, crafting items and of course, fighting to survive.
Although Primitive is yet to receive an official release date, you can add what looks to be a spectacular open-world survival game to your wish lists right now.
