I spend an unhealthy amount of time fixated on Rockstar Games’ social media accounts - and I’m certain I’m not alone. The Grand Theft Auto VI leaks are coming thick and fast, so you’d hope that a full reveal isn’t too far away. Come on Rockstar, give us anything. Even a crumb of a teaser.
Last year, Rockstar was subject to a major cyber attack during which over an hour’s worth of GTA VI development footage was leaked online alongside screenshots and source code. In recent days, fans have been left stunned by the quality of said screenshots, plus one insider claims to have discovered GTA VI’s release date. In case you missed it, the game’s map also looks as if it’s going to be huge. GTA VI isn’t the only project Rockstar has in the pipeline though. It’s been confirmed that two remakes of beloved PlayStation 2 titles are in the works.
This incredible mod allows you to play as The Boys’ Homelander in GTA V.
As reported by GG Recon, Remedy Games are working on remakes of 2001’s Max Payne and 2003’s Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, set to be published by Rockstar Games. The bad news is that while these remakes are happening, they’re not going to be released anytime soon. Confirming the studio’s portfolio, Remedy revealed that the Max Payne 1&2 remake is in the concept stage of production.

It was revealed that Remedy are also working on the sequel to Control in addition to a spin-off, Alan Wake 2 and a project currently known as Codename Vanguard which we know very little about, so it’s no surprise really that the Max Payne 1&2 remake is on the backburner until resources free up. That’s a lot of projects to juggle.
Alan Wake 2 is seemingly the only game in full-production with all other announced games in earlier stages of development. Hopefully, the Max Payne 1&2 remake will be worth the wait.
