For the first time in Dead by Daylight, fans were able to play as Leon S. Kennedy, and Jill Valentine, as well as Chris and Claire Redfield as survivors. However, as a killer, they could also assume control of the menacing Nemesis and Albert Wesker aka The Mastermind.
Now, Resident Evil is back in Dead by Daylight and with it, is the returning 2v8 mode. Rather than having one killer versus four survivors, this mode pits two killers against eight survivors, doubling the bloodshed in the Raccoon City Police Department.
Staying true to the Resident Evil formula, green herbs (healing survivors) and yellow herbs (healing the hook state) will spawn on the map. However, killers will be able to destroy any herbs they approach and in the process, will earn a temporary speed boost.

Furthermore, players will be able to pick up an Origin skin for the Nemesis and a New Dawn skin for Albert Wesker. There will also be skins inspired by Ada Wong from the RE4 remake, the BSAA version of Jill Valentine, as well as additional skis for Leon S. Kennedy and Rebecca Chambers.
