In this 2.5D horror game, you must explore Mostyn House collecting items to fend off the undead, ghosts, and witches that roam the corridors, but beware, each night when you sleep the mansion rearranges itself.

With a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, Withering Rooms has been pleasing fans who love skulking through darkened hallways and tackling the supernatural. One user says, “This game is an instant classic for me.”
There’s a huge cast of monsters to fight including axe-wielding “madmen” intent on ending your young life. But, you can find items and weapons to hold them back and some can even be kept into the next day with rituals.
It seems like a spooky roguelike that would win over a number of fans across multiple genres. It is being praised as a love letter to Resident Evil, but also has shades of Bloodborne due to its Gothic style. One fan jokingly comments, “Finally, Bloodborne on PC.”
If we dig into the Steam reviews, people are raving about this “truly, astonishingly, weird little gem.” A game that I didn’t know existed until 10 mins before writing this article and now I’m a bit in love and have added it to my wishlist.
