Red Dead Redemption fans rejoice, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the beloved western adventure is set to return in a release we've all waited years for.
For the first time ever Red Dead Redemption is officially headed to PC alongside the excellent Undead Nightmare. Quite how it took this long for the game to land is PC is anyone's guess. Let's just be glad it's happening.
The long-awaited PC port will hit PC on 29 October, alongside a ton of new features including native 4k resolution, Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitor support, and plenty more.

"In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality," Rockstar wrote in a blog post.
Of course the most exciting thing to come from this PC release will inevitably be the fact modders will soon be able to run wild with the game.
Given some of the amazing things we've already seen from the Red Dead Redemption 2 modding community, I can't wait to see if Red Dead Redemption gets a new lease on life thanks to fan-made content.
