It has been well over 10 years since Red Dead Redemption was first released and it now seems it is finally making its way to PC.
First released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Red Dead Redemption was later ported to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in August 2023.

However, it seems as though the Rockstar Games title is far from staying in the past as a new discovery shows that it is finally making its way to PC via PSN.

This news comes after Red Dead Redemption was spotted on the PlayStation Store.
"Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever,” the description reads.
Featuring the complete single-player experience, it will also include bonus content from the Game of the Year edition as well as all the features from the 2023 console upgrade.
Of course, it has also been updated for PC and includes “increased resolutions and framerates, multiple displays, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound.”

It wasn’t long before Red Dead fans took to Twitter to share their excitement over this announcement, even if the release has yet to receive a date.
“This honestly makes zero sense but if it means we get the original Red Dead Redemption on PC I'll take it,” one fan mused.
Another said: Holy s**t, peak incoming? I was wondering when it was dropping since it got leaked on Social Club.”
With Rockstar seemingly not planning to announce Red Dead Redemption 3 anytime soon, we will have to make do with this PC port.

Well, at least we are getting Grand Theft Auto VI pretty soon…
On that topic, GTA VI’s publisher has recently shut down an Xbox Game Pass release so it seems as though we will all be forking out that cash next year.
