Rockstar Games is getting ready for Halloween by bringing it to Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode. Packed with new game modes, ghoulish rewards and new cosmetics, it is the perfect time to team up with friends and live out your cowboy dreams.
Halloween is hitting the Frontier on Red Dead Online and dark forces are descending on the region. How you handle it, however, depends on you. Team up with friends and defend the local townsfolk from the assailants in the All Hallow’s Call to Arms game mode or leave them to die whilst you earn rare and cursed items with The Halloween Pass 2. The collectors amongst you can work for Madame Nazar and navigate the cursed Frontier to find hidden heirlooms and valuables for some extra cash. You can even go in disguise with 25% off Halloween masks.

If you wish to try your hand at All Hallow’s Call to Arms and fight off hordes of bloodthirsty visitors, you will earn double rewards including 30% off select horses if you manage to live through the final wave. From 17 October onwards, six new maps will be added to the game mode, but it remains to be seen who will top the leaderboard. Not only that but a new hardcore mission titled False Hopes & Prophecy will be available through 6 November tasking players with investigating some paranormal instances.

The Halloween Pass 2 will include brand-new items for Red Dead Online including a “catalogue of masks, blood-soaked clothing items and murderous accessories”. The Pass will be available to purchase now until 6 November and comes with 15 ranks. Anything you earn during this time will be yours to keep even after the pass expires.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 Halloween event will include many more goodies including new cosmetics for signing on as well as boosted XP and gold, offers on weapons and horses and even a free community-inspired outfit.
