One of the best things about Red Dead Redemption 2 is being the biggest possible bastard you can be.
Don't get me wrong, I played through the game as honourably as possible (which is why I cried my eyes out when my horse died), but when it came to robbing stuck-up rich folk on trains or storming banks? Well, that's where Red Dead Redemption 2 really shone.
Take a look at some of the best Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below!
It's a shame, then, that outside of main story missions you don't really get the chance to rob banks. Sure, you can hold up stores or random NPCs whenever you want, but I want to steal from The Man. I can't do that if I'm locked out of every damn bank in the game.

I understand why, from a story perspective. Robbing a bank as part of the main mission is supposed to be a huge job that takes planning and, even then somehow goes horribly wrong. It wouldn't make much sense for Arthur to suddenly be able to nip into any bank and pick it clean. But logic be damned, this is a video game!
Fortunately, a mod called Bank Robberies remedies this issue. It does exactly what it says on the tin: It allows you to walk into any of the banks in the game and point your gun to initiate a robbery, just as you would in any store. Naturally, the reward is higher than if you were attempting to rob, say, the post office, but the response from law enforcement will be swift and merciless. You'll definitely need to walk in with a plan, and maybe don't take Lenny along. We all know how that ends.
Oh, but if your robbery does go south? Turns out there's a way you can flee to Guarma without any mods, so that should keep the Pinkertons off your back for a while.
