After such a phenomenal full year of games, with the likes of Elden Ring, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Stray all blessing our consoles, it’s pretty easy to forget one fantastic title which came out way back in January. Pokémon Legends: Arceus completely changed up the traditional Pokémon gameplay formula we’ve been used to since the Game Boy era, allowing players to roam around a semi-open world surrounded by creatures big and small, and lob balls at unsuspecting ‘mons right there in the wild.
This new gameplay formula has left fans very excited to see what future of the series holds (I need to see a Legends: Johto game happen), but in case you couldn’t wait, as reported by DSOGaming, one modder is working on a huge mod for Legends: Arceus, which will let players travel to all regions. It is, of course, worth pointing out that modding a Switch game would require you to do some things that we're certainly not suggesting you do. Okay? Okay,
Before we get into it, take a look at some hilarious wins and fails from Legends: Arceus below.
Pokémon Unlimited is a work in progress, but aims to be fully open world and feature all Pokémon from the series - including regional and primal forms, Mega Evolutions, Dynamax and Gigantamax forms, and even Shadow Pokémon (from Colosseum and Gale of Darkness). As if that wasn’t enough, Z-Moves and Terastallizing will also be included, Pokémon will be able to follow the player around, and new Types including Cyber, Light and Shadow will be added.

As for the added regions, the modder is going all out - as well as all the mainline game locations like Kanto, Johto and Hoenn, regions from spinoff titles and the anime, such as the Orange Islands and Orre, will also be included.
It certainly sounds incredibly ambitious - the Alpha version is available to download now on Nexus Mods. The modder, Shadowjhakx982, warns that things are pretty buggy at the minute, and some things won’t work at all, so don’t expect miracles.
