Onibi's Tomo: Endless Blue is an upcoming open-world adventure game that looks like a mix of Pokémon and Zelda.
Over the last few years, we've had games like Temtem and Palworld seemingly take the aesthetics of Pokémon and blend them into a new type of game, but the influence doesn't stop there.
When you have a series that is as long-running and popular as Pokémon, it's pretty clear that the influence is going to stretch far and wide across the games landscape.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is on track to release later this year.
Considering Pokémon has typically only been exclusive to Nintendo platforms, there is an appetite for those types of games on other systems such as PlayStation and Xbox.
This is where Tomo: Endless Blue comes in, looking like a mix of Pokémon and Zelda.

It's a creature collector game where you catch Tomo, small powerful companions who can go on adventures with you or help you build a home.
"When worlds end, fragments of their civilisations become islands adrift in the Endless Blue—a boundless ocean realm inhabited by mysterious creatures known as the Tomo," the official description reads on Steam.
"No one knows why the Endless Blue exists or why it gathers the remnants of fallen worlds. But at its heart lies the secrets of the Vagari, an ancient civilisation long vanished, yet whose influence still lingers beneath the waves. Their truth is waiting to be uncovered. Will you be the one to unravel the secrets they left behind?"
The worlds in Tomo: Endless Blue are procedurally-generated, meaning each world will use randomised (but hand-crafted) elements to make it feel unique from other worlds.

This also includes the game's narrative, where towns, quests, and people are all dynamically generated too.
You can play the game alone, but you can also play with friends using a local network or multiplayer server.
What's great about this is Onibi has confirmed there is no limit on the number of players who can join a server. So, it can go as high as the PC the server is hosted on will allow.
There isn't any confirmed release date for Tomo: Endless Blue yet, but we'll be sure to update you once this changes.
