PlayStation Plus subscribers can probably all agree that the monthly free games are, more often than not, a mixed bag. Actually, that's probably an understatement.
Over the last few months especially, subscribers have become increasingly frustrated with the free games. Mortal Kombat X was deemed "insulting" back in September, while the arrival of a demo version of Godfall in December was described as a "new low" for the online service.
February's free games - which includes a years-old DLC for Borderland 2 instead of a full game - have gone down about as well as a fart in a lift. After January's marked improvement, that's a real shame to see. It's clear there's a lot riding on March, then. But can PS Plus deliver?

Subscribers seem confident that it can! Over the the PS Plus subreddit, one user has pointed out that, traditionally, March PS Plus games tend to absolutely slap. It's unclear why exactly this might be, or if it's simply a strange coincidence
As you can see below, previous March lineups have dropped some serious heavy hitters. Bloodborne, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Shadow Of The Colossus have all featured in a March lineup. With such a solid track record, the hope is definitely there for a big month next month.
Sadly we don't yet know what games PlayStation has in store for subscribers in March 2022, but if it can match the quality of previous years, subscribers should be in for a treat. We'll be sure to update you as soon as we know more about the PlayStation Plus games for March 2022.
