PlayStation Plus has just gained a ‘gem’ of a free game, subscribers say.
Recently, Sony announced the PlayStation Plus Essential games for May 2023. Judging by a lot of comments across social media, it seems that some subscribers weren't all that impressed with the line-up. However, is it really as bad as it seems? After all, some subscribers have even described the May 2023 offerings as “trash”. Well, perhaps it’s not as bad as some feared if you go by what’s being discussed on Reddit.
Tchia is one of the year's best PS Plus offerings.
Before we move on to more positive discussions from Reddit, let’s recap what’s included in the PS Plus Essential free games for May 2023. The lineup includes GRID Legends, Decenders and Chivalry 2 - and it’s the latter of which that has garnered a wealth of positivity.

“I'm not going to hate, I'm sure some people love these games. But no none of these are for me,” said a disgruntled Annual_Interest_6272. This comment sparked a response from invisible_r3, simply saying “Chivalry is a gem.”
“Please people try Chivalry,” exclaimed FerroLux_. To which michelangelo6002 replied: “Chivalry is one of those games that is easy to get into, nothing to get too serious over, and almost guaranteed to laugh and have a good time. Whether it be from the screams and chants the characters make, to seeing someone come at you with an arm cut off.”
The compliments didn't stop there for the Medieval Warfare sequel. “Chivalry 2 is hilarious. Just download it and mash the buttons. Grab a chicken and throw it at someone,” expressed a joyous Vyceron.
On Metacritic, Chivalry 2 on PlayStation 5 has a very respectable score of 85. Decenders has a decent score of 75 on PS4, and finally, GRID Legends scores 77. As the old saying goes: 'Don’t judge a book by its cover.'
