It is worth assuming that when you pay for a PlayStation Plus subscription, you will gain access to the monthly games on offer just like everybody else. However, that was seemingly not the case for a large quantity of PlayStation users this month.
Maintaining a PlayStation Plus subscription is no easy task due to its gradual price increases and occasional let downs when it comes to monthly additions to the library. However, it is a way of saving money on game releases at least.
However, one player was left disappointed when they noticed that one of their June game offerings had been replaced.

Check out the missing Streets of Rage 4 below!
For June, PlayStation Plus welcomed SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4 to its library. This usually means that all subscribers would gain access to these titles at no extra cost for a limited time.
However, that was not the case for one user who took to r/PlayStationPlus to complain.

It appears that instead of getting Streets of Rage 4 as promised, they only had access to Tropico 5 and this construction simulation game is a far cry away from the side-scrolling beat ‘em up title.
Luckily, taking their frustrations to Reddit had its merits as it was soon discovered that all PS Plus subscribers in the South East Asian region had experienced the same, leading some to believe it was a problem with licensing or outright censorship.
“Yeah I think the SEA region were getting that instead of Streets of Rage. It's on their X page. Really sucks,” one comment read.
Another drew attention to the running “joke” saying: “Am I wrong or is it already a running gag that everyone gets Tropico as a replacement game? I swear, I saw this before.”

Whatever the reason, it is disappointing to see some subscribers miss out on certain titles. Hopefully this is something that is rectified in the future.
