April has been a great month for PlayStation Plus subscribers, but May is set to be a little more shaky. While we don’t know which new games will join the service in May, it’s been confirmed which games are leaving - and the hefty list includes one of PlayStation’s best exclusives.
Let’s recap on what you can play though first. All subscribers can now grab Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Tails of Iron, and day one release Meet Your Maker. If you have downloaded Sackboy, don’t miss all the free extra DLC available from the PlayStation Store. Collectively, extra and premium subscribers have gained 16 extra titles including Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which is a game many subscribers have been requesting for quite some time. If you wanted to play the extra tier’s Marvel’s Spider-Man though, you better act soon.
Who’s excited for the release of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores next week? Take a look at the trailer below.
That’s right. Marvel’s Spider-Man will be leaving the extra tier catalogue on 16 May so you have just a couple of weeks to play this game. I shouldn’t think it’s a coincidence that this happens when the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is just a few months away. Sony wants to capitalise on those sales. Strangely though, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales remains safe on PlayStation Plus for now.
