Despite February shaping up to be an excellent month for PlayStation users, it seems as though March will bring us crashing back down to earth.

Last night’s State of Play event saw Sony announce all sorts of exciting news, including the selection of games which will be heading to the PlayStation Plus library throughout the remainder of February.

Check out the trailer for Resident Evil 3 below!

Despite an epic Star Wars-inspired action-adventure game and an indie game that captures the trials and tribulations of teenagedom, the February selection of games has been somewhat tainted following the news of the games which could be leaving the service in March.

This news comes courtesy of kayrakaanonline, a Reddit user who accurately predicts which titles will be leaving the PS Plus service each month.

Now with March on the horizon, they have done it yet again by revealing the 5+ games which will no longer be available for free next month.

The games up for the chopping block are Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball Z: Karakot, Life is Strange 2, Life is Strange: True Colours, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and for Premium/Deluxe members it is Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy, and The Plucky Squire.

With so many iconic titles leaving the service, fans are understandably frustrated and took to the comments to share their thoughts.

“Oh man I'm gonna have to finish the RE3 plat, I had started it last month and got frustrated with Nemesis lol…” said andykekomi.

It seems as though msaleem has a recommendation before it’s too late, “Plucky Squire is really cute and fun. I’m on chapter 7 of 10 right now and really enjoying it.”

“Thank you for posting this. I always read your posts. They are so useful,” 10pencefredo added.

“You successfully predicted The Outer Wilds leaving next month so I finished that off with plenty of time to go.”

Of course, these titles have not officially been confirmed by PlayStation to be leaving but kayrakaanonline has a pretty accurate track record so I would be safe rather than sorry when it comes to diving into these games before it’s too late.
