PlayStation's beloved cat sim Stray is finally coming to Xbox, a rating confirms.
Released in 2022 for PC and PlayStation, developed by BlueTwelve Studio, Stray became an overnight sensation, especially with its launch on PS Plus. An adventure game by genre, though many perceive this as the purrfect cat simulator of their dreams.
Set in a futuristic, cyberpunk world in which the human race is no more, it seems that only cats, robots and a deadly mutant bacteria remain. While not the most technically demanding, there was a certain charm with Stray that won the hearts of gamers across social media. Though cute and cuddly cats were of course a huge charming factor.

Sadly, those that chose to exclusively play on Xbox were missing out on Stray, but that hasn't stopped some from hoping that this charming game will soon make their day, and it seems, that may be on the verge of happening.
As reported by VGC (via Twitter user @MACOS380), Stray has recently been rated by the ESRB, which usually means that an announcement is imminent and it soon could be headed to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Obviously, this news is by no means set in stone, however, it’s about as good of an official announcement that we’re going to get outside of a reveal from its developer or publisher Annapurna Interactive.
In our review of Stray, we said it’s: “stunning, creative, funny, and filled with moments that genuinely made my jaw drop. Whether you adore cats, or have some fundamental piece of your soul missing and don’t really care about them either way, this game is the real deal.
“It might be a little on the short side, but I was never anything less than utterly captivated and thoroughly entertained during the entire adventure. And really, what more could you want from a video game in these trying times?”
Stray is currently available for PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
