I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I’d love to see another State of Play announced. After February’s edition was consumed by the rather dull Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, it would be nice to see some time dedicated to Sony’s upcoming first-party exclusives.
I’d imagine that we won’t get any big reveals until the summer around the time of Summer Game Fest. In the meantime, PS5-exclusive Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores releases in just a few weeks time, plus Naughty Dog have teased an announcement for The Last of Us’ 10th anniversary in June. Could it be the full reveal of the multiplayer project? The big release of the year for PlayStation will surely be Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Today though, I bring you something much more humble. The latest PS5 update includes a highly-requested fix.
Speaking of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, take a look at the trailer below.
As reported by ComicBook, the latest PlayStation 5 update fixes an issue relating to the Game Library system. In the patch notes, Sony explained, “An issue in Game Library where content was displayed incorrectly under certain conditions was resolved.” Admittedly, it’s not the most life-changing update, but if you were one of the PS5 users plagued by this display issue, hurrah. Your woes are no more.

In other PlayStation news, the April PlayStation Plus essential tier line-up was announced yesterday. In just a few days time, you can grab day one release Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Tails of Iron. Personally, I’m excited to check out Sackboy: A Big Adventure which has been on my to-play list for a couple of years.
Those titles will be available to download from 4 April so if you haven’t yet checked out the March line-up, you have just a few days more to do so.
