A new update for the Xbox Series X/S has made it easier than ever to use Discord features on the console.
Not too long ago Xbox added full-on Discord integration to your Xbox Series X/S consoles, allowing you to join server voice channels and even stream your game to those in the call with you.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle comes out later this year exclusively for Xbox, until 2025 that is… Check out the trailer below
While this feature was highly praised by users many considered it to be incomplete, as while you could stream your own gameplay to your friends you couldn’t watch theirs through the Xbox, you’d have to load up Discord on a computer or phone.

It also wouldn’t let you call specific friends, for that you’d again need a computer or mobile phone and then transfer the call to your Xbox with the app, not the worst thing in the world but far from practical.
Fear not though as those features have finally been added through a recent update, and are a complete game changer for when you want to play some multiplayer games with your friends, especially if they play on PC.
In a recent update Xbox said "It’s now easier to get updates when one of your Discord friends is playing, chatting, or streaming. Now you can jump into voice chat with them or watch their stream – all on your Xbox console, without having to use the Discord app on PC or mobile."
You can enjoy this updated version of Discord on Xbox right now once you’ve downloaded the latest update.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for PlayStation 5 users at the time of writing, who received their Discord integration much later than Xbox did.
Don’t worry though, I’m sure both systems will have the same levels of support sooner or later.
