Yesterday brought the exciting announcement that a new Tony Hawk game is on the way, I say new, it’s actually a remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
The remake was confirmed in a trailer debuting yesterday, and will launch on all platforms on 11 July, bringing some classic skateboarding action as well as an exciting crossover…

You’ll shred and grind as the legendary demon killer as well as a Revenant for a truly metal experience…
Xbox fans in particular were excited to see the news, getting together on a Reddit thread to discuss the trailer and what they’re most excited to see when the game comes out.
“Does that mean that 1+2 is going to hit Game Pass soon?! SOOOOOOO HYPED for this” said one commenter, and another added “the 1 & 2 remake was amazing. I loved it. Can't wait for this.”
As you might have guessed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass from its first day, leading many to believe the prior remaster will be joining the service in the next few months, probably pretty soon following the reveal trailer.

If you’ve never played a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game before I’m told this would be a fine place to start, but really any of the games are worth checking out whether you’re into skating or not.
It’s actually a pretty big year for skating games too, as it’s believed Electronic Arts will be launching its new Skate reboot sometime this year as well, though a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet so take that with a pinch of salt.
