Over the next 48 hours, Xbox users can enjoy a small selection of free games courtesy of the latest Free Play Days.
The three Xbox games in question aren’t about to blow your mind.
Nonetheless, they offer enough variety to suit most gamers’ tastes. Moreover, these three titles aren’t currently available via Xbox Game Pass.

Here is your selection:
- Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet – an original story from Bandai Namco that takes place in a “devastated land”. This RPG is packed with action, so make sure you’ve got a strong aim before you begin.
- Way of the Hunter – explore the surrounding landscape as you hone your skills as a hunter. Play solo or bring some friends along for a murderous day out.
- WWE 2K23 – showcase your skills as a fighter with friends, or journey through the history of John Cena’s career. Your choice.
We suspect you know the routine of Free Play Days by now, but just in case you have amnesia, allow us to give you a quick refresher.

Firstly, you need to be a Game Pass subscriber to try these free games; either an Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate member.
And secondly, you only have until 4 August (this Sunday) to play the titles for free.
Hopefully there’s something there to tempt you.
If there isn't though, fear not, for the first wave of Xbox free games has leaked online promising something for us all to enjoy.
