I don’t know about you, but I’ve wanted to go Super Saiyan since I first watched Goku achieve the gloriously yellow feat (Vegeta looks so much better as a Super Saiyan, though). Sadly, life is cruel and my chance to uncover any form of power has dramatically waned and disappeared as the realities of life got in the way. Luckily for me, I have Xbox Free Play Days to help me achieve my ultimate dream.
On 2 November, Xbox made Dragon Ball fans deliriously happy by announcing that its next set of free games will be Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball the Breakers, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. The games are already available now and will continue to be free to play until 5 November at 11:59 pm PDT. That’s not long at all, not when there’s so much to see, do, and fight – but that’s the challenge we have before us, so it’s time to stop moaning and start unleashing our full potential.
Now for something entirely different – stealthy precision in Assassin's Creed Mirage!
Before you go pulling on your orange outfits and spiking up your hair, please remember that Free Play Days are only available to Game Pass Core and Ultimate members. You could purchase one of those subscriptions to nab the deal, but time isn’t on your side, and you might prefer to take a more leisurely pace with your playthroughs. Should that be the case, however, you will also get the games for a discounted price, thus allowing you to keep on playing with all your achievements and progress intact.

Though, if we’re being completely honest, while enjoyable games that pack in a lot of fun, they’re not award-winning, fan-acclaimed masterpieces. Consequently, I’d argue it isn’t worth buying a subscription just for these free games, and I say this as an enormous Dragon Ball fan. However you slice it though, these three games offer big action, lots of battles, and a chance to play with your friends – some of the maps are substantially sized, and there’s a lot of familiar, beloved faces popping up to say hello.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball the Breakers, and Dragon Ball FighterZ are available via Xbox Free Play Days until 5 November.
