The Halo series has provided some of the greatest moments in gaming. Well, at least when it comes to the original entries from Bungie before the reigns were handed over to 343 Industries.
Released in 2010 for the Xbox 360, Halo: Reach was Bungie's final game for the green brand with the studio moving on to the Destiny series. Rather than continuing the Master Chief's story, Halo: Reach focused on a team of Spartans, collectively known as Noble Team, tasked with saving the planet Reach from a Covenant invasion.

Halo: Reach is a prequel to the first game in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved and when Reach’s story concludes, let’s just say that you may have an instant urge to fire up Master Chief’s first outing. However, before the story of Halo: Reach concludes, you are tasked with an epic and emotional story of survival as humanity's last hope on the planet Reach. “Halo: Reach. OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE,” said SjurEido. “This is a great answer. I Loved Halo: Reach. The final mission is to fight to the death,” replied Tasty Puffin. “I played that as a young kid, it was the first time I ever saw a main character die, as well as being my first Halo game. So I went into the mission thinking it was possible to make it out alive. Imagine my surprise when I finally died and realised there was never a chance to make it off Reach,” exclaimed another Reddit user.
“No matter how much you fight, no matter how many enemies fall at your feet there is another wave coming. There is no “we’re gonna make it” you are the last one and all you have is the weapons in your hands and whatever you have left to battle,” Loafman15 explained.
Halo: Reach is backwards compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It’s also available on Xbox and PC platforms courtesy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
