The Witcher meets Assassin's Creed Valhalla in jaw-dropping new RPG

Witcher 3 and Assassin's Creed in one game? What's not to love?

An awesome upcoming game based on a Polish comic-book is giving us serious Witcher vibes, with a bit of Assassin’s Creed mixed in for good measure.

The cultural impact games like The Witcher 3 have had on the game industry are still talked about today, as there’s a reason when you think of Poland you’ll probably think of CD Projekt Red before anything else.

But now another game based on a Polish comic is on the way, and could potentially kick The Witcher series off its shiny, golden pedestal.

It’s called Thorgal, and if you’re not a fan of snakes, this might not be the game for you, Indiana Jones certainly isn’t going to be playing it.

At the time of writing we haven’t got any gameplay to share, a disappointment but good things come to those who wait.

What we do have are plenty of gorgeous screenshots giving us an idea of what the full game will be like, and my God it’s fascinating.

Thorgal is based on the famous Polish comic series of the same name by Grzegorz Rosiński and Jean Van Hamme, with the video game adaptation being Soulslike, the only genre that makes sense for a game such as this.

The description states that players "will take on the role of the main character and experience many adventures known from the comics, encountering dangerous bandits, formidable monsters, and invincible gods - but also powerful allies."

More unfortunate news aside from the lack of gameplay is there’s no release date to announce, but again good things come to those who wait and Thorgal is looking like a pretty good game so far.

It’s looking like a mash-up of The Witcher 3 and Assassin’s Creed, so honestly what’s not to love already?
