If you’re a major fan of P.T, you’re going to want to check out UNFOLLOW - a brand new photorealistic horror that, quite honestly, looks utterly nightmare inducing.
P.T’s ongoing impact and popularity is a curious thing. When we are constantly bombarded by new releases, it’s incredible that a nine-year-old demo - and a demo that’s very hard to access at that - remains at the forefront of the horror genre. Fans continue to applaud Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s team up. It’s not a demo that’s even been made playable on the PS5, unless you’re brave enough to jailbreak the console. UNFOLLOW may fill the P.T shaped hole left in your heart though. Prepare yourselves. It’s as creepy as they come.
Take a look at UNFOLLOW’s new teaser trailer below.
As reported by DSOGaming, UNFOLLOW is in the works at Serafini Productions. The photorealistic horror is seemingly targeting a February 2024 release on Steam. In the game, players will assume the role of a “victim of bullying, escaping from terrifying monsters while uncovering the mystery of Akidearest in a thrilling journey of terror.”

Devs further added that the game will focus on social issues, particularly the dark side of social media - something we’ve seen crop up as a recurring theme in horror films as of late. Cam, Host, and Unfriended all spring to mind. In the trailer for UNFOLLOW, we see a number of creepy mannequin-esque fleshy beings. I’m not sure how they play into all of this, but I’m scared regardless.
The game will also feature familiar online faces like Knite, Barbascura X, Elisa True Crime, and Kin Ryan. A free demo is available to download on Steam now. We’ll be keeping an eye on the project’s progression.
