However, an open beta test will soon be available.
That last clue might have tipped you off about which game this is, but in case you need it spelling out, we’re talking about Monster Hunter Wilds.
Capcom revealed on 8 January that a second open beta is coming in February.
Here's the trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds to whet your appetite
You’ll be able to “try out the game, create your hunter and Palico, plus unlock a cool reward for the full release!”

If you played the first open beta, you might be tempted to ignore this second opportunity believing it offers nothing new.
You’d be wrong, though.
“OBT two is your second chance to try out the evolved hunting experience in Monster Hunter Wilds, this time featuring an additional monster!” the official Monster Hunter Twitter page shared.
Still, performance issues that gamers have previously mentioned in the last beta won’t have been addressed in this second test.

Before you panic though, Capcom assures everyone they're being dealt with ready for the big launch.
Although this test begins at some point in Feb, we’ve yet to be given a specific date.
Consequently, if you’re eager to get a taste of this massive RPG for free, you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled and check social media regularly for updates.

We’ll also try to keep you informed, of course.
The game is going to cost you a pretty penny upon launch, yet you have the chance to play it for free. Granted, it’s only a test drive, but it’ll be enough to know if you want to buy the full title once it’s available.
Monster Hunter Wilds is due to be released on 28 Feb, so we expect to see the next open beta early Feb.
