You can download and play these four games for free on Steam and best of all, they’ll be yours to keep forever.
At this point of the month, we can often find ourselves short of change once all our bills have been paid until payday next arrives, and then the process begins again. This is why video games are not only great to help escape from our worldly woes but it’s a bonus if we can play games for free.
Check out The Sixth Sorrow trailer below!
We can of course indulge in AAA free-to-play titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, Rocket League and more. However, it’s sometimes nice to see what the indie game market is up to, which brings me to these four freebies featured in today’s article.

As brought to our attention by the Twitter account, Free Steam Games, here are four indie titles that you can download for free and keep forever:
- The Sixth Sorrow: “Things haven't felt right since the accident. Your mother's passive aggression, your father's refusal to speak, and strange things around the house... Are they unable to move on, or is something even more sinister lurking beneath the surface?”
- Deep Siege: “is a fast-paced, first-person endless wave shooter. Play as Akula, an Atlantean sharkfolk warrior, and defend your underwater realm against waves of mutated sea creatures. Rack up kills to gain buffs using Bloodthirst or heal during tough moments.”
- Take Care (of me): “My name is Lorena. I don’t know where I am or how I got here. I just woke up in a bathroom, locked in, but I will escape this place and figure out what’s happening.”
- Project Bengal: “Immerse yourself in a richly detailed world where you can free-roam, engage in intense action, and live out your own criminal empire story—all in Bangla language.”
Those are just four of the many games that you can claim for free today on Steam. Hopefully, you’ll find some enjoyment with at least one of the above.
