We’ve got some free Steam games to showcase today, all of which can be grabbed now, added to your library, and kept forever and ever, amen.
You should know the deal by now, head on over to Steam - if you’ve got an account - and grab these games before they vanish, or the price goes up.
Do you have a Steam Deck? Well, now you've got some free games for it.
First up, we’ve got a little game called Unlog, which looks very much like the banger platformer Celeste.

Is Unlog a banger? I have no idea, I’m just here to give you the news. It’s about “a sleepy goblin trying to escape a mysterious dream factory,” which sounds like a unique scenario, so there’s that.
The screenshots make it look like a decent attempt at capturing the essence of a precision platformer, so give it a look.
If playing with letters and words is more your thing, then Word Blitz will have you swapping letters, trying to come up with words that aren’t horrendous swears, and scoring points.
Probably better than playing Scrabble with your granny, but I don’t know, maybe she’s a nice lady with interesting stories to tell.

Next, we’ve got Asylum: Patient Zero, a “thrilling horror” game set in an abandoned building. Why do people insist on visiting abandoned buildings?
It looks creepy, there’s a mystery to solve, and it’s free, what more do you want?
Lastly, The Forest Keeper is a post-apocalyptic adventure where the trailer on Steam doesn’t feature a forest, so I have no idea what the title refers to.
You play as a survivor in a world of sand, where mysteries lurk beneath the shifting grains, and monsters try to eat you, or maim you. One of those.

That’s it for new freebies this week.
Why are you still here? I have nothing more to give you. Begone!
