Oh my, I think I’ve just fallen in love with a game. If you're a fan of cosy games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Stardew Valley, and Fae Farm, you’re going to want to keep a close eye on the adorable upcoming Moonlight Peaks.
On the surface, this is your standard cosy farming sim. You’ll be tasked with looking after your crops, decorating your humble abode, and expanding your agricultural empire.
The unique twist with Moonlight Peaks though is that it's set within a supernatural world so shovels, watering cans, and forks won’t be the only tools at your disposal. So too will you be able to make use of potions and spells.

“Live the vampire life in the magical town of Moonlight Peaks! Master the art of potions and spells, manage your supernatural farm, and leave your mark on the magical town. Make friends with the local werewolves, witches, and mermaids, and find your eternal love in the supernatural dating scene,” reads the description.
Yes, you read that last bit right. Supernatural dating is indeed a part of the game which is huge news for anyone who’s spent the last six months thirsting over Baldur’s Gate 3’s Astarion. I know you’re all out there.
Stardew Valley remains a master of the genre.
Developed by Little Chicken, you star as the vampiric daughter of Dracula himself. In fact, your farm is your attempt to prove to your sceptical father that you can actually get by on your own.

To improve your chances, you’re going to want to master an array of spells, unlock ancient powers, and brew potions. You’ve got plenty of time to do so. After all, you’re immortal.
Alongside this, Moonlight Peaks teases that you’ll “unravel the mysteries of the seven families,” and whilst I have no idea what that’s alluding to, I’m positively intrigued nonetheless.
Of course, you can customise your vampire and there are a number of minigames to enjoy, allowing you to try your hand at fishing, bartending, and shapeshifting.
Unfortunately, Moonlight Peaks doesn’t have a release date just yet, but you can currently dive into a free demo of the game over on Steam.

This’ll give you a nice idea of what to expect from Moonlight Peaks’ full release and, of course, it’s free so what have you got to lose?
The demo allows you to complete the farming questline, plenty to keep you busy.
