Forget the 12 days of Christmas (seriously, who needs four french hens?), here at GAMINGbible we're all about the 12 free games of Christmas.
There are, of course, way more than 12 free games out there for you to play this Christmas. Whether you're subscribed to PlayStation Plus, hooked up to Game Pass, or registered with a third subscription service I can't be bothered to Google right now, there's plenty to get stuck into.
Over on Steam there are currently tons of free games, but right now I want to focus on some of the more interesting demos you can download and play for free. Shall we do that? Yes. I think we shall.

Take a look at the upcoming Age Of Mythology Retold below!
There are hundreds of free demos on Steam right now, but I thought we could pick out 12 of the most exciting right now. I'm sure you have lots of games to play already, naturally, but it's always fun to look to the future.
- Factoria - I don't like to use the word addictive when I'm describing video games, but... Factoria is an incredibly hard game to put down. This demo will get its hooks in you.
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 - If you need an excuse to listen to 'Driving Home For Christmas' over and over again, this is for you.
- Final Fantasy XIV - A free trial of one of the best MMORPGs out there. You will lose yourself.
- Sky: Children Of The Light - Gorgeous, and incredibly relaxing.
- Bits And Bops - A gorgeous rhythm game.
- Balatro - A poker roguelite, which seems like an odd combo.
- Warm Snow - A stunning looking roguelike action RPG.
- Backpack Battles - An inventory management auto battler that looks way too satisfying.
- Half Sword - A very funny, but surprisingly historically accurate, battle simulator.
- Street Fighter 6 - One of the best games of the year. I don't need to say anything more.
- Bread And Fred - An adorable co-op platformer with penguins. Love penguins.
- Davigo - Not really sure how to describe this one, but it looks really damn cool.
