The mark Stardew Valley has left on the gaming community is considerable, yet not everything about this new Steam game is cosy.
Once again, another new experience is making waves on Steam thanks to its cosy vibes.
We start to think of Stardew Valley and of lush fields overgrown with fresh produce, yet there’s more to this title than simply farming.

A new adventure awaits in Solarpunk
You’ll find adventure here similar to the tales we see woven throughout The Legend of Zelda franchise, but we’ll also need to learn to survive like in Valheim.
In short, this new game has cherry picked features from three games we love and transformed it into an enticing experience.

Solarpunk hasn’t launched yet, however, it’s already garnering much interest due to the various elements of gameplay we so enjoy.
This “survival game” places you “in a technically advanced world of floating islands” in which you need to construct, craft, farm, and explore.
You can go it alone or bring along some friends for the ride, which undoubtedly broadens the appeal of this already alluring title.
The trailer for the PC adventure has people wondering what discoveries will be made once they start playing – will there be a story, or will it be a sandbox experience?

It isn’t clear, yet people are loving its “relaxing and fun” gameplay.
“This looks promising [...] reminds me of Slime Rancher, Subnautica, and probably gonna have Raft style in base building on the sky... looking forward to it,” posted YouTube user @adrianzkr.
Currently there’s no demo to play, unfortunately, which does make waiting for its 2025 launch feel a tad frustrating.
Still, while Solarpunk hasn’t got any freebies to offer us yet, there are other downloads and free games available on Valve’s platform that will keep you entertained.

Be sure to wishlist Solarpunk if you want to keep up to date with its development. It looks like such a beautiful game, it would be a shame to miss its launch.
