There’s a delightful new game coming to Steam, later this year, from the makers of Station to Station.
With gorgeous voxel, blocky graphics, there’s a major Minecraft vibe coming from this title that should appeal to fans of the visual style.
Town to City looks like a wonderful time
Town to City will allow players to “break free of the grid” and build a “beautiful and bustling community”.

With both a story mode and sandbox play, you’ll be able to construct buildings, connect roads, and make the surrounding scenery look fabulous.
I spent many hours on Station to Station, joining up little areas with puzzling precision, and I was captivated by the visuals that feel almost like a fairytale.
Town to City looks like it will offer less puzzling and more freedom, as the store page says, “You're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.”
Being able to manage a community of villagers is going to be a wonderful addition with a variety of people living in your community, “from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie”.

Photo mode, which is included here, will be a dream as you can build lush areas using the freedom of placement, then sit back and take artistic shots of your creation.
I can imagine there’s going to be a Stardew Valley feel to how you interact with your villagers, but with less farming and romance.
This game will be the epitome of cosy gaming, perfect for snuggling in and letting the world slip away.
I know I’ll be keeping an eye on this one, and you should too, if you enjoy the relaxing village building.

Make sure to add it to your wishlist to see if a demo is released on the lead up to a full release.
