Set during the year 2100, you are one of a few survivors in a world where civilisation has collapsed as a result of global bacteriological warfare. Now that nature has made some areas somewhat safe, you are free to explore and navigate, as long as you keep protected from the remnants of bacterial weapons.
Improve your camp, collect scraps, restore and build items and be prepared to watch your surroundings at all times as you go it alone or team up with friends. Additionally, if one friend gets on your nerves, friendly fire is always an option!
As time goes on, you will be able to extend your camp, as well as provide electricity, automating tasks and improving defences. Not only that but you will be able to take over whole settlements and create a thriving ecosystem. With a world created using Unreal Engine 5, you are guaranteed a realistic survival experience.
Rooted is available to add to your wishlist on Steam now. Additionally, you can sign up to become part of its alpha testing over on the official website to get a taste of the game for free before full release.
