If you’ve been playing The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, you might want to know that an update has just been released for the game bringing it to version 1.1.1.
The new update is available now and will bring some quality-of-life updates to the latest Sony first-party title. We’ve got some details about the update for you and as you can see, it should really help those who have been grinding the No Return mode since release.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has pleased fans with its improvements
A major bug fix is detailed as “Fixed an issue where some progression-critical items would not be detected with Enhanced Listen Mode in New Game+” which was halting the progress for many players. We’re also seeing some general updates like “Fixing an issue where game performance could become degraded during long play sessions.”

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered not only spruced up the visuals and sound design, but also introduced the No Return mode and it has been a hit with players. This is where most of the fixes and improvements are taking place. You can see a full list below:
- Minor UI fixes throughout the game
- Fixed issues affecting the Daily Run leaderboard
- Addressed an issue where players’ scores were not populating, or vanished from leaderboards
- Fixed an issue where the Modded Trophy was not accurately tracking player progress
- Fixed an issue where chained Clickers could T-pose when hit with molotov flames
- Fixed an issue where bloaters in Holdout would focus on buddies over the player
Hopefully this will fix a lot of issues players have been seeing recently, but as with any new game bugs do often appear and need to be squashed. One other fix that I thought was pretty hilarious was “Astronaut Ellie should no longer lose her head” because apparently her model would glitch and her head wouldn’t appear in the museum scene.
