PlayStation Plus has once again updated its offering with some absolute bangers, many of which you won’t want to miss.
It’s not secret that PlayStation has been on a bit of a roll this year, as it’s still riding the wave of success brought in by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as well as it’s unexpected console exclusivity for Baldur’s Gate 3, which is finally on Xbox after some delays.
Both games stand tall on our list of the greatest games of 2023, which you can see in its entirety below
The one thing PlayStation has seemingly struggled with is PlayStation Plus. In stark contrast to its competitor, Xbox Game Pass, the subscription service has struggled to keep players happy, not helped by a price-hike earlier this year.

Luckily the latest additions are stellar choices, and well-worth consideration while they’re free-to-play.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin | PS4, PS5

Those who subscribe to PlayStaiton Plus Premium now have exclusive access to the following classic titles:
Mega Man Legacy Collection | PS4
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 | PS4
Thrillville | PS4, PS5
Thrillville: Off the Rails | PS4, PS5
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command | PS4, PS5
The stand-out title in that list is obviously GTA V, especially with all the buzz surrounding GTA VI which finally received its first official trailer the other week.
As for the other games, the Shadowrun series and the Mega Man games are certainly worth consideration, but there’s definitely no harm in trying all of the new additions to see if any become your new favourite.
It’s a pretty good end of the year for PlayStation Plus after months of disappointment, though hopefully 2024 has some more consistent pleasant surprises for Sony’s subscription service.
