PlayStation Plus subscribers are very happy with this month’s Essential tier line-up, and we can’t really blame.
In terms of monetary value it’s basically robbery in broad daylight as we’re getting Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors Ultimate and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is obviously the big one here, though some fans are taking it as a sign it’s the biggest flop of the year
It scored favourably in reviews, but ultimately it appears as if Electronic Arts has lost faith in it by allowing it to be a new PlayStation Plus game.

Nevertheless fans are calling its inclusion on the service a win for them, even if it’s likely a loss for the studio and fans of the series.
“Looking forward to giving Dragon Age a shot now that it’s free! AAA game available so soon is a W IMO” read one PlayStation Plus subscriber, though another corrected “a W for us, definitely not a W for them.”
“Dragon Age is definitely not my kind of game. But at least they're giving some new games. Sonic and Turtles are kinda cool” added another.
Many are also taking it as a sign that future entries in the series might not be possible following this one failing, believing it could just be remasters, remakes, or a reboot from here on out.

Best not to think about that though, especially if you’re not a fan of the series in the first place, just enjoy owning your new game.
The question now is how can PlaySation do better than this month? As sights are already being set on April’s line-up of PlayStation Plus games to be even better than March’s, though with heavy-hitters like Dragon Age: The Veilguard the pressure is definitely on to deliver an equally impressive month.
