There’s something incredibly frustrating about not knowing what to play next.
From time to time, I’ll load up PlayStation Plus and just scroll for what feels like forever.
It’s not that there’s nothing I want to play; it’s that there’s too much.

I’ll find a gazillion options instead of just committing to the first thing that takes my eye.
I’m sure you know the struggle.
If you’re currently in that predicament, allow me to slide in and help with a recommendation not from myself, but from the PlayStation Plus community.
If you’re a fan of racing games and you’re an avid essential tier offering downloader, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is a title you might want to check out ASAP.

Personally, I’d say you can’t go wrong with the recently added God of War Ragnarök.
This suggestion was brought to light by Reddit user Delicious-Maize9656 who said, “Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered (2020) on PS Plus is a top tier racing game for me.”
They continued, “It has better graphics, controls are not too complicated but still fun, plenty of supercars, drifting, you can choose to be a cop, many devices to slow down or bust enemy cars, night races are gorgeous. 9.5/10.”

As an essential tier title, this one’s available to all, but there is one caveat.
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered was included in January’s selection of games which, unless you added them to your library, are no longer available.
This is why I always say to add every essential tier title to your library. There’s literally no harm in doing so.
Then, you can peruse your library at leisure. You may brush over a game only for it to enter your radar, say, six months later.

If you did redeem Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered last month, well, Delicious-Maize9656 summed up nicely why it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss out on.
“I love this game,” agreed KH3, while user gandalfmarston remarked, “The multiplayer is extremely fun. I miss those kinds of more casual multiplayers that are about fun than grinding.”
Others argued that the controls are a little unwieldy but look, if you’ve already redeemed the title for the low cost of nothing, there’s no reason not to give it a whirl.
