It’s another day which means it’s another round of PlayStation 5 Pro rumours with an insider claiming that an announcement by Sony will be made very soon.
It should come as no surprise that Sony will at some point release a PlayStation 5 Pro. After all, since the launch of the original PlayStation, there has been at least one updated version of a console in that particular generation.

For example, during the PlayStation 4 console generation, Sony released a Pro version which boasted an improvement in graphics and performance. Now, nearly four years after the launch of the PlayStation 5, a new and improved version of that console is expected to be imminently revealed.

As with any unconfirmed rumours, they should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise, especially when there have been so many regarding the PlayStation 5 Pro. But I guess if people keep throwing rumours at the wall, at some point, something is bound to stick.
The latest PlayStation 5 Pro rumour claims that the console will be announced at Sony’s next State of Play event said to take place at some point next week. The rumours are courtesy of Twitter user Lunatic Ignus, who according to Comicbook.com, has provided some accuracy when it comes to leaked information in the past.
“Sony will announce its next leap of this generation next week, following the State of Play on 19-20 September,” Lunatic Ignus tweeted.

I think we all expect the PlayStation 5 Pro to arrive at some point but it will be interesting if the rumours of its announcement do take place next week during a currently unannounced State of Play. Only time will tell.
We’ll of course keep you updated if we hear further information on the expected arrival of the PlayStation 5 Pro.
