We hoped delays for this new hardware would be a thing of the past, but apparently that isn’t the case.
In fact, according to inside sources, this new PlayStation tech is launching later than anticipated.

When asked if September is the month the PS5 Pro will be announced, Henderson responded, “If it releases this year!”
Those are the words none of us wanted to read.
Naturally, fans want answers, but Henderson doesn’t seem to be giving them, though perhaps he knows nothing more than what he’s already said.

Henderson is considered a reliable source, however, his tweet hardly claims remarkably long delays, simply that 2024 might not be the year for PS5 Pro.
Something has to give soon, though, as Sony hasn’t exactly reaped the benefits of the PS5 as it intended to; less units have been sold than projected.
The PS5 Pro could be the answer to its problems, but only if it launches soon. Otherwise, it seems more logical to wait for the PS6, no?

For now, just don’t get your hopes up about getting a new PlayStation before this year ends.
