Major 2024 Xbox exclusive officially confirmed for PlayStation 5

Major 2024 Xbox exclusive officially confirmed for PlayStation 5

Yes, it's coming to PS5

So, the leaks were right, Indiana Jones is coming to PlayStation 5.

Bethesda and Machine Games announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live that the new Indiana Jones and the Great Circle isn’t just coming to Xbox, but it will hit the Sony console in 2025.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PlayStation 5 next year

While nothing particularly new was shown in the trailer that accompanied the announcement, other than Troy Baker’s motion capture, the big news is that PlayStation fans will be able to join in the fun.

There was no specific window for release, only the broad news of Spring 2025.

If you’re an Xbox player, you’ll be able to play the game on 9 December this year when it arrives on Xbox Game Pass.

The new Indiana Jones game has been years in the making and will take players across the globe in the famous explorer's shoes.

Everything from puzzle-solving to punching Nazis will feature and, of course, your trusty whip is never too far away.

Renowned actor Troy Baker will play Indy in this new adventure and he talked about what an honour it was to play such an iconic character from Hollywood history.

We’ll have more details on the game very soon, but for now, we can celebrate that PlayStation users can experience this title so soon.

Usually, when these titles make the jump to other consoles there’s an excruciating wait, but it seems that Xbox is sharing the wealth much sooner.

Of course, we kind of saw this coming given the talk from Microsoft earlier this year about spreading their games out across other platforms, and it makes sense for such a huge game with a renowned IP.

Hopefully, we’ll find out a more concrete date nearer Christmas, once the game is in the hands of Xbox players, but for now, get those wisecracks ready.
