When Grand Theft Auto VI is released to the world next year it will no doubt sell in the millions and break all kinds of sales and concurrent player records. However, there will also be millions of gamers who won't be able to play GTA VI.
It’s fair to say that there probably isn't a game that has generated as much pre-release hype then Rockstar Games’ GTA VI and for good reason, it’s a bloody good series that pushes its console generation to the limits and no doubt, the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series will be no exception.

Yet, in a tweet from journalist Stephen Totilo, Sony has revealed that since its launch in November 2020, the PlayStation 5 has shifted over 59 million units with PlayStation as a brand having over 118 million users. This means that more than 50% of gamers are still playing on PlayStation 4, which in turn means that a large chunk of gamers won't be able to play GTA VI.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of writing, a PC release hasn't been announced but we’re sure that day will come eventually.
