The God Of War series is far from over, though the next outing for Kratos and possibly Atreus will be something entirely new.
At the end of God Of War Ragnarök, we saw a lot of personal growth for our main characters, with Kratos parting ways with his son on a new mission to be a God Of Hope rather than a God Of War.
It’s touching stuff, and it’s expanded upon in the Valhalla DLC where Kratos takes on the man he used to be.
With a new game probably on the way, many are wondering what could be next, but possibly before that, we’re getting a live-action TV series that’ll reportedly run for two seasons.

The TV series will be with Amazon Prime Video, which is already promising as the Fallout series was fantastic, and we can’t wait for Season 2.
Showrunner Ronald D. Moore has confirmed Amazon has requested two seasons of the God Of War series, which hopefully means there’ll be plenty of interesting story developments with a second season already in the bag.
Fans have had quite differing opinions on this though, with some taking it as a good sign but others thinking it could be a great mistake.
“Greenlighting two seasons is kinda standard in streaming to make viewers believe the show won't get immediately cancelled. Freaking Velma got two seasons,” read one fan’s opinion on Reddit.

“Please let Kratos be God of Waring from Episode 1. The Halo show waited until the last minutes of the season 2 finale to finally get to the Halo and it is cancelled now,” read another.
One more said, “I am gonna be the voice against the grain and say I’m actually optimistic for this.”
I’m sure it’ll be great, and if Amazon already wants two seasons, it obviously sees potential for it to be another win to go alongside Fallout.
