Who would like to play one of this year's best games for free? If so, then you’re in the right place.
Okay, firstly I know that it’s strange to say “one of this year's best games” when in fact, Cyberpunk 2077 was released in 2020, but hear me out. We all know by now the terrible state that it launched, particularly on PS4 and Xbox One. In fact, Cyberpunk 2077 was deemed to be so bad, that Sony decided to pull it from the PSN Store for it to return later in a somewhat better state.

However, when the new-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 was released in February 2022, we were seeing signs of the game that we promised it would be several years back. Yet, it wasn't until arguably this year prior to the launch of the highly anticipated expansion, Phantom Liberty that Cyberpunk 2077 was on the precipice of fulfilling its potential following a series of substantial updates. Then when Phantom Liberty finally arrived supported by what looks to be the last major update, somehow, two years after it launched, Cyberpunk 2077 became one of this year's best games.
So if you’re yet to play Cyberpunk 2077, especially now during its current state, you can try the game for free as long as you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium, that is. The PS Plus Premium trial grants you a generous five-hours after which, all your progress and trophies will carry over should you decide to purchase the full game.
What’s more, by being a PS Plus Premium subscriber, you can choose to download Cyberpunk 2077 to your hard drive or stream it to save that precious storage space. Happy days.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
