Xbox and PlayStation fans can claim a refund if they bought a particular skin on The Finals, because of a mistake with the price.
The latest free online game, The Finals, has taken platforms by storm. Boasting fast-paced, skill-based gameplay, unique multiplayer modes, and plenty of other incentives to download, it’s no wonder it’s quickly becoming a fan-favourite.

However, Xbox and PlayStation players who recently bought an Epic weapon skin are now eligible for a partial refund, as the developer Embark Studios reportedly charged too much for the store item.

The skin in question is part of the Holtow Fine Print bundle, which offers a unique look to the player’s Uzi weapon. When you kill a player with the Holtow Fine Print weapon, it’ll print a receipt naming the person you just killed, adding further insult to injury for letting you get the better of them.
It was originally listed for 1100 Multibucks, The Finals’ in-game currency, but this was apparently incorrectly listed.
Embark Studios recently released a statement regarding the Holtow Fine Print bundle, saying “Whoops! We made an error with the pricing on the Holtow Fine Print weapon skin! It should have been 850 Multibucks from the very beginning.”
The studio went on to say: “Within the next 48 hours, we will return 250 Multibucks to anyone who purchased the skin for 1100 Multibucks. You don’t have to do anything but wait patiently for the cash to enter your account.”

So if you bought that bundle before the price was corrected, worry not, your refund will be on the way. Unfortunately, 250 Multibucks won’t get you very much from the online store, but better to have it back than lose it altogether.
The Finals is free-to-play on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
