The Witcher 3 just got 15 new quests you can download for free

All in a day's work for the White Wolf

Geralt’s story doesn’t have to be over, not when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has received this many new quests.

Although there’s a possibility Geralt will return in The Witcher 4, the main protagonist of the new game was teased months ago, and we missed it.

Still, while we may already have the answers we seek, there’s no escaping our collective sadness that the White Wolf’s time has passed.

What is more, with the new CD Projekt Red title expected to be unplayable for millions of fans, we need some kind of win to cheer us up.

The hunt never stops in The Witcher 3

As if sent by Geralt himself, we now have that pick-me-up, and it’s in the form of ‘Witcher 3 Quests Extended’.

“Witcher 3 Quests Extended (W3QE) is a mod that adds 15 new and unique quests to the Witcher 3 gameplay experience.

“These quests activate at differing times and feature a variety of activities. Some are quick to complete, whereas others can span large portions of the game.”

The response to this NexusMods offering has been largely positive.

One user posted, “I'll even start playing again! And this is great because there will be new quests and they will be correctly marked in the journal, and of course now I won’t miss anything interesting!”

Other satisfied customers have been more concise with their praise, but nevertheless happy with their experience, saying what a “great idea” the mod is.

Even without the assistance of mods, there are still plenty of reasons to return to this beloved adventure.

There’s an alternate ending we suspect many of you missed during your previous playthroughs through no fault of your own – some guides don’t even cover it!

So much replayability leaves us with no other option than to play the game again. After all, it’s what Geralt would want.
