A new Red Dead Redemption 2 mode is giving us serious The Last Of Us vibes, and if you’re a fan, you need to download it right now.
Before you get any ideas, it isn’t a Last Of Us-style version of Undead Nightmare, though that’s a fantastic idea and hopefully something similar is done for Red Dead Redemption 3.
Speaking of The Last Of Us, check out our video review of The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered below.
No, today we’re talking about a simple mod that adds something that honestly should have been in Red Dead Redemption 2 from the very start, a playable guitar.

During a playthrough of The Last Of Us Part 2 the player could control Ellie as she plays a little tune, and now with the Playable Guitar mod by konstantinos96b, Arthur Morgan can get a groove on too.
The feature is only available when you’re resting at one of the game’s main camps, but you’re free to pick up the instrument and play around with it to your heart’s content.
Thematically, it fits into the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 quite well, as what could be more Western than a cowboy on a cold night, sitting by the fire playing a song on an acoustic guitar? Sounds like something straight out of a Hollywood film.
Keep in mind it’s not as in-depth as The Last Of Us Part 2’s version, which let you pick a chord with the control stick and strum the guitar with the controller’s touchpad. In the Red Dead Redemption 2 mod, it’s restricted to holding down a button and watching Arthur do his thing.

Nevertheless, it’s a great addition and somehow adds even more character and charm to the game, as well as another activity to partake in when you’re chilling in the camp.
