If you’re an avid Horizon Zero Dawn fan, Sony has just given you another reason to log into the game.
Sony has been bringing its huge library of titles over to PC for a few years now.
What was first seen as a risky business move for the publisher ended up paying off, with millions of players enjoying titles like God of War, The Last of Us, and Marvel's Spider-Man on PC.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is out on PC today.
Still, while Sony’s PC strategy has been largely popular for now, the company landed in a hot spot with its controversial PSN requirements which began last year.
The policy stated that all PlayStation games on PC had to link to a PlayStation Network account. This was particularly troublesome because it meant the games requiring this could not be bought in countries where PSN isn’t supported.

This was especially bad for Helldivers 2 players, who had already been enjoying the game for months before the policy was introduced.
As a result, the game received over 200,000 negative reviews on Steam before the publisher went back on the PSN requirement.
However, as of this week, Sony has backtracked on the requirement across all of its games and offered in-game free content as an optional incentive to link your account.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered players can now go in-game and grab access to the Nora Valiant outfit.

Previously appearing in Horizon Forbidden West, the Nora Valiant is a rare outfit that can be obtained from any merchant in-game.
However, by linking your PSN account, you’ll be able to unlock the outfit from the very beginning.
It’s worth noting that this is only available for the remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn, as the original has no such PSN linking features.
Other games that also have freebies for linking your account include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and God of War Ragnarök.

As a result of Sony changing the requirement on PSN accounts for PC players, it’s possible that regions that were locked out of buying the publisher’s games will once again be able to. As of yet, Sony has not issued a statement on this though.
