If you’re a fan of Fallout then you need to claim these three bangers as suggested by gamers on Reddit.

It’s hard to believe that the Fallout series has been around for nearly three decades making its debut in 1997 with its sequel released the following year, both of which are played in a trimetric perspective unlike Bethesda’s massive open-world RPG, Fallout 3 of 2008.

Check out the Fallout Classics Collection trailer below!

If you’ve ever played the first two Fallout games in the series, despite being far less technically advanced than the likes of Fallout 4 (which recently benefited from a free new-gen update), then you’ll know that there was something special about them, even to this very day. However, if you’ve never played them, soon you’ll have the perfect opportunity and they won't cost you a single penny.

Epic Games offers free games that you can download and play to keep forever regularly. The only catch is that you need to download and use its PC game launcher to play them but to be honest, other than taking up a little storage space, I feel that’s a very small price to pay.

As of 29 August until 5 September 2024, you can download and keep Fallout Classics Collection via the Epic Games Store. This bundle of joy includes Fallout, Fallout 2 as well as Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, and fans on Reddit are urging you to claim these free beloved games when available.

“Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics are going free on the Epic Store next week for a limited time,” said babimagic in a Reddit PSA. “Fallout Tactics is an underrated gem. It's just fun. Plus it has drivable vehicles!” Thornescape replied.

“Even if you don’t care for turn-based RPGs I think every Fallout fan should experience where it all started,” suggests TheGreatGambinoe with HariestHobo adding “1 and 2 are a must play, at least to see where it all started.”

As long as you have a modern PC or laptop, you should be able to play each game in this Fallout collection easily due to the low system requirements. It’s perhaps also worth mentioning that available right now through the Epic Games Store, you can claim Gigantic: Rampage Edition as well as The Callisto Protocol until 29 August for free.
