We can’t get enough of Fallout right now and following the recent release of the live-action Amazon Studios adaptation, neither can millions of others.
The Fallout series began way back in 1997 long before Bethesda acquired the rights to the beloved post-apocalyptic RPG series. However, when Bethesda picked up the rights for the series and gave us its first release in 2008 with the legendary Fallout 3, the series arguably evolved for the better.

Fallout 3 would be followed up by two absolute bangers, Fallout: New Vegas in 2010 and then Fallout 4 in 2016. Now, we’re eagerly awaiting the release of Fallout 5, whenever that time may arrive.

That being said, we’re going to have to be very patient for Fallout 5 to be released because it’s likely to arrive after The Elder Scrolls VI, neither of which has a release date. What are you playing at, Bethesda?
Thankfully, until the likes of Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls VI arrive we have enough Bethesda content to keep us busy such as the Fallout show which has just been renewed for its second season. Then we have the long-awaited free new-gen update of Fallout 4 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S later this week.
Yet, if that free new-gen upgrade isn't quite good enough for your high standards, then you need to check out this amazing 8K graphics boost for Fallout 4 which is free to download right now. This amazing remaster is powered by a plethora of Fallout 4 mods which gives the RPG a major upgrade that almost makes the game unrecognisable, it’s that good.
The 8K upgrade has been showcased by the YouTube channel Digital Dreams and instructions on how to download and install the mods can be found in the description section of the video. In total, over 300 mods were used to make Fallout 4 look as good as this but I think it was well worth the effort.

With mods of this nature and for so many, this 8K graphics boost is only available on PC, unfortunately for many of us. Fallout 4 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
