Fallout 4, when all is said and done, isn’t a bad looking game.
Sure, it has that Bethesda charm that some find lacking, but generally speaking, it’s a visually attractive adventure.
That being said, few Fallout fans will turn down the chance to see Fallout 4 receive a overhaul that breathes new life, at least aesthetically, into the experience.

As showcased by YouTube channel Digital Dreams, you can apply several hundred mods to give the game a “photorealistic” edge many want to see implemented in Fallout 5.
Many such similar showcases claim to offer a graphical overhaul, only to ruin the atmosphere of the game.
In this instance, such an outcome has been avoided, at least as far as fans are concerned.

User @keithv2974 posted, “Stunning footage. The colour balance and range of lighting, to me, rivals anything Unreal 5 can put out.”
They added, “Those rainy, foggy scenes have the perfect level of shadowed ground with pale skies. I feel like a lot of engines struggle with creating an accurate sense of heavy cloud cover.”

For the most part, gamers are chuffed to bits to see Fallout 4 renewed with the aid of mods.

No matter if you mod your playthrough to high heaven or keep it vanilla, you’ll want to return to Fallout 4 to uncover this secret treasure trove.
It’s one of many discoveries easily missed if you’re not thorough enough.
